Hygienic cleaning - immersion method with several cloths
If you wash the rag constantly in the bucket I collect the dirt strongly and the last wipe is anything but hygienic, on the contrary, possibly you have spread germs only over a larger area. Not everyone on kitchen worktops wants that.
Only the dipping process really helps. You work with several fresh rags, which are each dipped in the lye. So the cleaning water remains cleaner, but then accumulate several wet cloths. At the end you rinse all rags at once. This saves you cleaning agents and permanent water changes.
