Ice cream for small children - healthy and homemade

Yesterday at the dessert (only ice cream, was better to do outside as a dessert) I noticed that there is no ice for the little ones. At least none that fits in the little mouths, and maybe not yet full of sugar!

Of course, as our daughter (1) does not watch everyone having ice cream, she naturally naps with mom or dad, with the result that she is totally smeared, slobbering the ice :-D and not much left for mom or dad , So today I have come up with something that is healthy and fits in small mouths and hands.

ingredients

  • Fruit according to taste, I had banana and apricots
  • some milk or yoghurt if desired
  • shot glasses
  • Chopsticks (for example from fruit dwarfs)
  • aluminum foil

preparation

  1. Puree the fruit, then add the milk / yoghurt and mix again.
  2. Fill the mass into the glasses and cover with aluminum foil.
  3. Scrape the film in the middle with a knife, insert the stick and put it into the freezer.

Does not take too long until it is solid due to the small amount. If necessary, get out, remove foil, and hold the glass under hot water for a short time so that the ice dissolves better.

So our Madame ate it right away and could do it super well. For fast you can also take good fruit jars or applesauce etc.

Have fun and good appetite for your kids!
