iced coffee

Do you know the iced coffees from the famous coffee house chain, which consist of crushed ice and coffee? I really like it, but I think it's way too expensive. That's why I usually do it myself. It tastes just as good, I think.

You need for two big glasses
A smaller cup of very strong coffee
ice cubes
About 2 to 3 dl of milk

At will:
Sugar or other sweetener
cream
Caramel syrup or chocolate syrup

With the ice machine:
Boil coffee, then pour about four ice cubes into the cup to cool it down (if necessary, first dissolve the sugar in the coffee.) I personally like it very sweet and take about 3 tablespoons)
Mix the milk and the cold coffee together in a large container
Into the ice machine with it. My needs about 30 minutes. It's done when it reaches about frappe consistency.

With a strong blender (which creates ice cubes):
Boil coffee (If you want sugar: dissolve in it.) Allow to cool slightly, or add ice cubes.
Ice cubes in the blender (about 1.5 filled glasses)
Coffee and milk in addition (Wers measure, of course, can do with the two large glasses: Just to fill both with ice cubes, coffee and milk and then in the blender. So you have the right amount.)
Miiiiiix- until there is snow. Finished!

If you like: whip up the cream, put on the filled glasses and syrup over it. Delicious! Or carefully fold in cream, it also tastes great.

Of course, you can customize the recipe to your liking: more or less milk, plenty or no sugar, with or without syrup - just as you want.
