Icing especially nice
Since I had neither powdered sugar nor lemon juice, I tried the tip to touch the glaze with milk. As a substitute for the powdered sugar, I have given normal sugar in a high vessel and well mulled. Was not as fine as icing sugar but ok I thought ... Mix everything so that there is a viscous mass and then off to cookies and Co - the result were stars that sparkled as if they were set with diamonds ... Me think, it was mainly the relatively coarse sugar that breaks the light differently.
