Ingenious grill to make yourself
If you have an old washing machine that does not work anymore, then you can just remove the drum.
This is made of stainless steel, so it does not rust, and has all around small holes which is important for the oxygen supply by the fire.
Now you tinker 3 legs down to it (opening now shows up) ... I took threaded rods.
Top up with wood and light. The holes are always burning well through the holes. Ash hardly flies away! Grill either sausages on the floor above, or place a grill grate from the hardware store across the opening and sauté steaks on top.
If you feel like it, you can attach a slider for the ashes below, but I'll always wait until it's cold and empty it out through the "laundry opening".
Also suitable as a replacement for the good, old ghetto bin if you have a garden party and need heat and / or light.
