Keep Amaryllis from tipping over
When Amaryllis bloom, they become heavier and heavier. Often the vase tilts.
I take an empty plastic bottle for detergent, cut it to the height of a beautiful planter. In the plastic bottle come first some pebbles to complain, or coins.
On it water, in between the possibly shortened Amaryllis. The arrangement is hidden in the planter. The pebbles support the flower stems.
Instead of planter you can also take a champagne cooler or a basket. Everything works as long as you do not see the plastic bottle.
