Keep cat away with vinegar
Every cat owner knows it: the dear fur nose wants in the apartment to a "no-go" place / place. For me it would be z. For example, the TV table, which you can circle around so wonderfully, is always pressed tightly to the TV, which then, as if it were funny, starts to wobble a bit.
Or the small side table with a small lamp on it. Since it is a so-called touch lamp, which turns on "touch" on or off, here is an absolute top toy found. The lamp is switched on or off with the left pawl, then the right paw.
As I just had an open vinegar bottle in my hand, I raced to my room tiger, who was again intensively busy with the lamp. As soon as I stood in front of him (still with the open vinegar bottle), he set aside a horrified sentence and fled.
For me the Aha-Erlebmis. He hates the smell of vinegar. I then watered several small rags with a little vinegar and put them in an inconspicuous place on the places preferred by my cat. So z. B. TV and lamp table. The result: all former (forbidden) favorite places are sullenly circumscribed.
It is a cheap alternative to the chemical repellents that are available in the pet trade and also smell very unpleasant. The very light and fresh vinegar smell does not bother. Let's see if this tip is useful for you with cat.
