You certainly know that, you buy a small thing (sweater, book, shoes, pan, etc.) ... the receipt is still a while around and disappears at some point. If you have a complaint after a few days or weeks, the ticket is usually gone and you can not exchange more ...
For this receipt I took 12 envelopes, labeled them with the month names and put them upright in a small plastic box. If I buy something in July, the receipt (sometimes handwritten added, if the name is not unique) in the July bag and so on. After a year, the old Bons fly out, the new come in.
I started this collection egg, as in a 100-euro pair of shoes after three times wearing replaced the sole and the receipt was simply not findable. A nice side effect when sorting through after a year, the "Aha" experiences, how long so many pieces have been unused in the closet ...
