Keep the toast in the freezer stable
Who has not been angry that the toast will start to mold after a few days and you have to throw away half of the bag.
My advice about this, which I got from my mother, when I still had to run a household as a single: put toast in the freezer.
Here it stays for a long time (weeks) and you can take it out, and toasting, if you need it.
PS: Even today, after 13 years of marriage, the toast is with us in the freezer ... (of course not the toast from the time :-))
