Knitted fabric relaxed

It's a pity that I came up with the idea to tinker a lot of wool in the manner described below: In the past, I unwrapped a small part of the knit and then rewound it into a ball of thread over the hand ... Repeating this as often as necessary. That was often tedious, because I have always run two steps alternately ...

Now I wrap a whole ball of wool in one (!): I lay the knitted fabric on the floor, take the beginning of the last entangled yarn in my hand and put it on the couch to find it again. Then I leave the ball of yarn and the initial thread and wrap the rest of the yarn / ball backwards. My idea is, however, to go through the room with the thread during the tinkering and to let it fall loose on the floor. I do this until a ball is completely unwound or up to the point where I want to knit again.

If the run length is very long, the thread to be unwound is so long, I go possibly helical through the room and let the thread continuously "fall". Thus, the already unwound yarn can not get tangled and I do not always have to change jobs. In addition, the whole thing is very "figure-friendly", because you not only sit, but moves!

Do you have other ideas?
