Kohlrabi with peas

Kohlrabi is one of the summer vegetables for me. It tastes of spring / summer and can be used in many ways - raw and steamed. This vegetable is not only delicious, but also very healthy (vitamins / trace elements).

And if you have no harvest from your own garden, it is not expensive. Kohlrabi can be served as a side dish - salad? as well as main course use.


My next recipe, which is the main course, I serve this time with oven-chili-Leberkäse and potatoes. Of course, you can also briefly fried meat, meatballs (= meatballs, meat planting ...?) Wiener sausages ... added.

Called liver cheese is very spicy (packed in a small block to 250 g). I buy it at? Hofer? (this is a part of the Aldi South chain, which is represented in E. If you can get this and like it sharp, I can recommend it or you can find similar stuff in your other stores.

I go in my recipe for "kohlrabi with peas? no longer on this Leberkäse, but would like to write at this point that I, what ever? Backrohr-Leberkäse? means, do not bake it in the oven, but, sliced, roast brown in the pan on both sides.
