"Koldskal" - a simple Danish dessert

A very light Danish dessert, which translates directly into Kaltschale.

ingredients

  • 1 L buttermilk
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 lemon (juice and peel)

preparation

Rub the lemon zest and squeeze out the juice, beating well with the other ingredients. It tastes even better when it has stood in the fridge for a day - the lemon flavor becomes more intense.

Serve cold, along with butter biscuits, which are broken in its portion and eaten with cold peel.
