Let LED candles shine for free

LED candles that run on batteries are becoming increasingly popular. I also have two copies of it and I like to use it in addition to normal tealights. It is also nice to have such a "candle" burning in the dark hall or at night in the nursery as a kind of night light.

I have found that the LED candles consume very little energy and also "burn" for a very long time with batteries that are used for other devices, e.g. in the toy or in the alarm clock, etc. have become too weak. Similar to some wall clocks is also possible.

So I pick up all the batteries and throw them away only if they are too weak for the LED candle.

In addition, I still had this idea: we have a very nice house community where we Exchange magazines with each other. So I asked my neighbors not to bring their "empty" batteries to the collection point, but to give it to me! I think my neighbors are pretty happy about it and I can enjoy the flickering light for free.
