Letscho

When tomatoes and peppers are in season, Letscho should come to the table. Letscho is actually a side dish to meat, sausage, minced patties ... but you can, mixed with croissants (pasta), also make a main course of it. Ideal for vegetarians!
ingredients
- 8 pieces of pepper - yellow, red, green (I use only red and yellow) cut into large squares
- 1000 g of tomatoes cut into cubes
- 2 large onions cut into large cubes
- 4 cloves of garlic sliced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tbsp oil
- some dried chilli (or fresh chilli) to taste
- Salt pepper
preparation
- Lightly sauté the onions in the oil, add the tomato paste and roast briefly.
- Add the peppers, tomatoes, garlic and chili and simmer for about 10 minutes. The peppers should still have some bite.
- Season with salt, pepper and maybe a pinch of sugar.
