Letscho

When tomatoes and peppers are in season, Letscho should come to the table. Letscho is actually a side dish to meat, sausage, minced patties ... but you can, mixed with croissants (pasta), also make a main course of it. Ideal for vegetarians!

ingredients

  • 8 pieces of pepper - yellow, red, green (I use only red and yellow) cut into large squares
  • 1000 g of tomatoes cut into cubes
  • 2 large onions cut into large cubes
  • 4 cloves of garlic sliced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some dried chilli (or fresh chilli) to taste
  • Salt pepper

preparation

  1. Lightly sauté the onions in the oil, add the tomato paste and roast briefly.
  2. Add the peppers, tomatoes, garlic and chili and simmer for about 10 minutes. The peppers should still have some bite.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and maybe a pinch of sugar.
