Limoncello - lemon liqueur
ingredients
- 8 lemons untreated
- 900 ml of double grain
- 900 g of sugar
- 900 ml of water
preparation
- Wash the lemons with hot (!) Water and peel the peel off with a knife (or peeler).
- Pour over the shells with the double grain and let stand for 1 week.
- Boil 900 ml of water and 900 g of sugar to a syrup. Takes about 10-12 min.
- Remove the lemon peel from the alcohol (pick up the alcohol!) And pour into the syrup and leave to infuse for another two days.
- Then remove the trays and mix the syrup with the alcohol and bottled.
