Liverwurst chips for the dog - not just for New Year's Eve

At the moment I am experimenting with home-made dog biscuits whenever I have baked or cooked something for myself in the oven. So the stove is already preheated and I do not make it extra "only for the dog", because the Hundelekkerlies are baked quickly.

Last night I came up with a very fast dough for the dog biscuits. You need the following ingredients:

50 g wheat flour
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of garlic (fresh or granulated)
1/2 teaspoon basil rubbed
3 tbsp olive oil


mix everything well and then add the following:

2 tbsp oatmeal
1 egg (M)
1/2 carrot finely grated
30 cm long skein from the tube "liver sausage for the dog".

Mix everything very well, so that a good ripening dough is formed.


Lay out a small flat baking pan or 1/4 baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough on top.

Now bake at 160 degrees for 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven, tilt the oven door and let the mold cool down with the treats in the oven. This causes a drying of the pastry. Then take out and cut the pastries into small squares for small dogs and large pieces for large dogs.

The amount gives about 100 g of chips for the dog. For larger dogs, I recommend taking twice the amount of everything. Since I have a small almost toothless dog, I have the biscuits cut into small bites. The first tasting snacks were taken faster than the ones you can buy from the relevant companies. :-)
