Longer pleasure in purchased herbs
If I bring me fresh herbs in the winter from the supermarket (my kitchen is in winter and summer unfortunately too dark to breed on the windowsill), then I leave the foil, which is when buying around is always off.
Although this does not look as pretty as it does without, it certainly has the quality of a miniature greenhouse. With regular watering, my basil, which had usually already made a limp after a few days, loosely holds for 3 weeks. And also the chives grows great again.
