Loop with zipped pocket
For a "trendy" young man I sewed this loop - he chose the fabrics and the zipper himself ...
The zipped compartment is incorporated lengthwise in the center of the outer fabric and the length of the same with the "owner" agreed. I could easily shorten the zipper with pliers before inserting it. I have sewn their food bag laterally in the short, vertical decorative stitching and on the floor in a longitudinal edge. He is sewn on the zipper at the top edges.
Since I did not have any instructions for the loop, I made it very difficult to incorporate the zipper in this first attempt, because I worked this procedure as if I wanted to work a zipper pocket into a large fabric surface. When everything was ready, I realized that I could have used the zipper only in the middle between the above and below piece of fabric, which would have been much less expensive :-( So now at least one loop of this kind must follow, so that mine Paying off insight!
