Loose dowels, furniture joints, etc. firmly anchored

As a woman alone, you often face problems that require manual knowledge and ideas. One thing occurs in my old apartment again and again: Either you do not get into the brick of a wall with the drill or - usually - one of the plaster falls against, so that the dowels do not hold at all.

A kind of slapstick no. came about when I wanted to attach a rope tension set. Whenever I plastered the dowel on one side and later made the other side, the one on the opposite side jumped out again due to the tension. Even experienced craftsmen had no idea.

Once upon a time Aldi had a 2-component adhesive clay (Tesa) in my hands (also in the hardware store). Looks like plasticine in a plastic tube. Cut off a piece of it, knead the mixture well until it is soft, brush into the opening to be glued and fix it with pressure for some time and stick it on. Holds amazing!

In the meantime, I have also fixed lamps to the ceiling and even screws in furniture! The male helpers were initially embarrassed by the unfamiliar method, but were ultimately all convinced.
