Make doll bed of cardboard itself
This doll bed is only put together. It holds without glue and can be taken apart at any time and stowed away in a bookshelf to save space.
For the cute bed I used a box for copy paper (picture 2). He was in a copy shop and the staff was glad that I took the box since their waste paper was full anyway. First I cut off the individual tabs with a craft knife. From the bottom of the cardboard box is the bottom of the bed. My bed is 30 x 21.3 cm. From the side flaps of the box I have two larger feet (9.5 x 13.5 cm), two smaller feet (9.5 x 9 cm), a headboard (21.3 x 9 cm) and the foot of the bed ( 21.3 x 7 cm) (picture 3).
Now in the finished bed parts 1 mm wide notches in different lengths are cut into the box. The exact dimensions are shown in Figure 4. The bottom of the floor is carved with a distance of 2 cm to the edge, 5 cm long and 1 mm wide notches with a cutter and ruler. On the left side, the notches are only 3 inches long. Such grooves are also cut into the feet and the head and foot end (dimensions: Figure 4). At the head and foot of the doll bed round off the upper corners, if they are not already rounded (like mine) anyway. The construction is very easy. Insert the long feet into the longer notches in the bottom of the bed and the two short feet into the short grooves in the floor. Then just put the head end on the longer feet and the foot end on the shorter bed feet. Done is a great doll bed for the doll mum. If you want, you can also paint it with paint.
