Make great garland from crepe paper
A garland of crepe paper is cheap, easy to produce and enormously effective.
For a garland you need 2 different colored rolls crepe paper, which is available for 50-100 cents to buy. From this you can make 3-4 garlands for the room decoration, for the table decoration a few more.
From the crepe paper, cut a piece about 15 cm long from the rolled-up crepe paper.
From the second color an equally long piece. Both pieces are cut as they are with scissors at 1-1.5cm wide distance, from both sides to 1cm in front of the middle.
Thereafter, the two rolls are unwound and stuck together in the middle with non-water-soluble adhesive lengthwise.
When the two incised crepe strips are glued together, they are twisted and then placed in the room with tesa or pins.
If you have to pay attention to the fire resistance because of smoking or the regulations stipulate it (for example, in a nursing home or in community facilities), you can obtain flame-retardant crepe paper, and then everything is done from the insurance point of view.
