Make herb butter in stock and freeze

If you like to eat herb butter, but eat a lot by yourself, you do not consume so much in one go and then the rest of your herb butter may spoil. To avoid that, I do the following:

I make 500g herb butter like this:


I chop my herbs of choice (parsley, dill, chives, oregano, rosemary), then dab them well with a clean towel, then mix well with the soft warm butter (I take with rapeseed oil), add salt and pepper ,

I keep one part in the refrigerator and the rest I fill in ice cube trays and freeze them.

If I need herb butter now while cooking or frying, I take out as many dice as I need and nothing spoils me anymore!
