Make leaky wooden doors and windows weatherproof
When driving rain often moisture through the narrow cracks of wooden windows and doors occurs.
My remedy:
Clean the frame well, place a thick silicone sausage on the stop edges. Everything with a wide foil strip (best goes budgetary foil).
Close door or window.
After approx. 3 -5 days, depending on the weather and setting of the silicone, carefully open the window or the door.
Cut off protruding silicone with a sharp blade knife.
Now the window or the door is made weatherproof.
