Make practical storage for the smartphone itself
You can still do so much with mandarin boxes. I recently glued the corner timbers together to form a practical shelf for my smartphone.
For this I needed:
- a fruit box / mandarin box
- Tool to disassemble the fruit box (ideal: an old table knife, flat-blade screwdriver leave traces)
- wood glue
- possibly color
I did it that way:
- To do this, I attach the tool to the joints of the side parts with the corner timbers and release the clips.
- The four corner pieces I connect by holding two parts with the broad side up.
- Then, a third part is placed on a narrow side flush with the respective edges of the triangles, so that the wide side faces inwards, and glued, so that ever three parts are connected together.
- Then I take the fourth part and stick it with a distance of about 1.5 cm to the third part opposite, so that I in the resulting gap z. B. also the charging cable to smartphone etc. can connect.
- Finally, I take a piece from a sidewall, cut out a rectangle (it is scratched with the knife, it can be easily broken) and glue this to the slope of the fourth part.
- If you want, you can paint it, let it dry - done!
