Make quark yourself

Very easy to prepare: Slowly heat 2 liters of whole milk to 30 degrees. In the meantime you can lay out a sieve with a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out 1 lemon.

As soon as the milk rises, stir in 5 tablespoons of lemon juice and remove the milk from the heat and place in a warm place for at least 4 hours.

Then pour the pot contents through the kitchen towel and keep under running cold water. Then the mass is squeezed out vigorously and drained off. The more water he loses, the firmer he gets.
