Make reusable water bombs

Anyone looking for a great job for children's birthdays or summer vacations is always right with a water bomb fight. It's a thing with water balloons. Afterwards one has bright red fingers from the knot and everywhere lie the rubber remainders around. With water bombs from plaster sponges or sponge cloths no garbage is generated and they are immediately ready for use again. Simply dive into a water tub and on we go with the water fight.

And this is how it works: Cut off strips of different widths (1, 2 and 3 cm) from the sponge cloths. Halve the strips again. They are then about 9 cm long. Also cut pot sponges on the long side into strips. Then place about twelve to fourteen individual strips of different sponges in different colors on top of each other and tie them in the middle with a rubber band. The individual strips to pick and ready are the colorful water projectiles. All you need now is a bucket or a tub of water and the fun can start. At children's birthday parties you can have the children make the bombs themselves. Then they are busy at once.

This is needed:

  • Scouring pads and sponge cloths (new or old)
  • rubber bands
  • scissors
