Make transparent stars with book foil "durable"

Recently in the library I ran a little craft booklet on the way and so I used the bad weather and ever made for Christmas.

Actually, the stars should get a frame of black cardboard, but somehow I had no desire to do so. Something needed these stars, which consist of two equal parts, but to keep them together.

From self-adhesive book foil, I cut out two squares of sufficient size per star, loosened the protective foil and laid a square with the adhesive side up. Then the star is carefully placed and struck.

From the top then the second film square is carefully placed and also smoothed. The protruding parts of the foil are cut off just at the edge of the star.

If there are small wrinkles in the film, you can now carefully remove the film from the star and remove the wrinkles. As a rule, it works but wrinkle-free.

The star Keep together nicely now and have also become more durable because the film protects the fine tracing paper, but the transparency has not been lost.
