Making a fruit fly trap - effective & uncomplicated
The idea for this very effective fruit fly trap came about by chance. In the production of yeast dough with fresh yeast, I noticed that fruit flies like crazy fell on the tea towel, which was covered with the fermenting dough.
Since then come in my fruit fly trap in the glass next to apple juice, some detergent and water a few crumbs of fresh yeast (leftovers of yeast dough is also) and 2 teaspoons of sugar, so that the yeast goes well. The fruit flies are doing badly: The catch rate has increased by 300%, and that is very environmentally friendly and uncomplicated.
