Making bread dumplings with great success

Dumplings are a great side dish to dishes with lots of juice! Some do not dare to prepare? I would like to introduce you to a successful recipe:
ingredients
- 250 bread rolls (dumpling bread)
- 1/2 finely chopped onion
- 60 g butter
- 3/8 l of milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp handy !! Flour
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 Msp. Grated nutmeg
preparation
- Sauté the chopped onion in melted butter and allow to cool slightly.
- Sprinkle eggs with a little milk, salt and nutmeg.
- Heat the remaining milk and pour over the breadcrumbs, allow to cool slightly.
- Add egg milk and the onion and mix gently.
- Add the flour and parsley, mix well and knead with your hands.
- Let the dough rest for 45 minutes.
- In the meantime bring salted water to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Form the dough with wet hands into dumplings and press firmly together.
- The dumplings on a board o. Ä. because all should be placed in the boiling salt water at the same time.
- Now put all the dumplings in the boiling salted water and, depending on the size or amount of dumplings - my recipe is for 6 medium-sized dumplings - cook for about 30 minutes.
- Remove from the water at the end of the cooking time, serve immediately or keep warm.
