Mediterranean chicken in frying tube

ingredients
- 1 frying tube (bag)
- 1 fresh chicken
- 2 onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
spice mix
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 3 tbsp olive oil
preparation
- Mix the spice mixture and rub the washed and dried chicken inside and out. Then fill with 2 quartered onions, the halved garlic cloves and the rosemary branches.
- Fill the chicken into a roasting tube (bag) and close it about 5 cm from the chicken (with cord or clip). Prick 2x on top with a fork.
- Place the bag on the rack with the frying pan pushed in. Bake at 175 degrees hot air or 200 degrees top bottom heat for about 70 to 90 minutes.
- Serve with farmhouse baguette.
- The advantage of the frying tube is that the oven stays clean, you do not always need to brush the chicken with liquid or turn around constantly and you have time for other things! But be careful when removing, the frying tube is hot!
