Mending small quirks in tiles

I have always been annoyed by small holes / quirks in our tiles that grow larger over time. The whole tiles for a Winzmacke exchange is somehow stupid.

Then I got car trowel (2-component polyester putty). Simply mix a small amount on a piece of cardboard or similar with the hardener. Before the hole around, as close to the edge, attach Tesastreifen. Then apply a plastic spatula to the surface of the well. Then immediately remove the Tesa again and wipe carefully with well-moistened cotton swabs along the break edge. A little bit always stays with me on the undamaged part of the tile, because I usually can not attach the adhesive strips so exactly.

Then let it dry. Our tiles are creamy white and the light putty mixes so well that sometimes I can not find the original quirks. Unfortunately, I do not know if there are dark putties for differently colored tiles.
