Mince and cabbage stew

We like this mincemeat pot very much and with the Fissler vitafit comfort pressure cooker it is prepared super fast.

ingredients for 4 persons

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 1 small cabbage
  • 500 g of mixed minced meat
  • salt
  • black pepper from the mill
  • 400 ml cattle stock

preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut into pieces of the same size. Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage, cut in half and cut out the stalk. Cut white cabbage into strips and as well as put the potatoes in a colander and wash.
  2. Now put one third of the cabbage strips in the pressure cooker. Then half of the minced meat is distributed and seasoned with the pepper from the mill.
  3. This is followed by half of the potato pieces, which are seasoned with salt vigorously. Alternately cabbage again, the rest of the minced meat and potato pieces in layers and season with salt and pepper.
  4. The conclusion is made by the remaining white cabbage. The whole is then added to the cattle stock.
  5. Close pressure cooker according to instructions with the lid, set cooking level 2 on the lid and place the pot on a suitable hotplate at the highest level.
  6. As soon as the yellow ring appears on the lid, the stove can be lowered to low heat.
  7. After a short while the green ring appears and the cooking time begins. The mincemeat pot now only has to cook for 10 minutes. Are these around, take pot from the griddle. The rings indicate when the pot can be opened. Attention! Only open when the indicator rings have completely disappeared again in the valve. Otherwise, there is a risk of scalding.
  8. Serve the finished minced cabbage on plates and then have a good appetite!

This is now the second dish that I have prepared with the Fissler vitafit comfort and after initial insecurity I have with the handling of the pressure cooker no more problems.


In any case, I would like to emphasize once again the time savings that one has in the preparation.

Both dishes, which I have prepared so far, have not only tasted delicious, but due to the gentle preparation, I can well imagine cooking most of my dishes in the Fissler vitafit comfort.

The traffic light function on the valve in the lid allows easy preparation.


What I do not like is that the pot is very heavy, at least for me.

Otherwise, I am already looking forward to the next court that will "magic" in the vitafit comfort.
