Pressed madness or minced meat with a difference: a recipe for preparation in a pressure cooker.

ingredients

  • 500 g of mixed minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 1 head = approx. 1.2 kg savoy cabbage or white cabbage
  • 1/4 l of instant broth
  • 200 g of sour cream
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Caraway seed
  • parsley

preparation

  1. The savoy cabbage has to be cut small.
  2. The minced meat and the cut onion are seared in a pot. Then season well with pepper and salt.
  3. Add savoy cabbage and deglaze with the broth.
  4. Then sliced raw potatoes (cucumber slicer) and then sprinkle with cumin.
  5. Garen: This was my first attempt with the pressure cooker, and I promptly screwed it up! Too long cooked - 8 minutes. Everything was pretty soft, but unsightly. I took 8 minutes on level 2 because of the potatoes. Better would have been 4-5 minutes on level 1, then the savoy cabbage would have kept its color.
  6. After evaporation, stir in the sour cream and season to taste.
  7. The parsley is - as usual - first spread on the plate above.

The preparation with the Fissler pressure cooker

The first time, my patience was put to the test and badly strained! First you have to read a lot and look at many pictures. Then you stand in front of it with a growling stomach, it steams and hisses and I wait and wait, that rings appear - but nothing happens for a long time. But then suddenly: yellow - green - red, that goes very fast and the pot whistles! Quickly pull from the plate and full coverage! The rest of the cooking time was spent by the pot next to the plate ...

learned: For my stove - Constructa with glass ceramic field - I have to pull the pot from the plate when the first ring appears. It is then very fast and my pot whistles. The rest of the cooking time he stays next to the plate. Even if it is switched off, it still has so much temperature that the whistling starts again immediately. So far, I have only prepared vegetable dishes and just waited for the pot to evaporate by itself, or set the alarm and open it by hand, depending on the nature and condition of my food.
