Mini moorland in the garden

A mini peat bog in the garden is a nice eye-catcher.

You need:

  • a 60-80 cm mason bucket
  • 2-3 flowerpots of medium size
  • Moorbeet or Torferde
  • and of course bog plants

This is how it's done:

  1. The bucket is sunk in the ground. You can also leave it on the ground. But then you would have to dress up the bucket.
  2. In the bucket then come upside down the flowerpots (for ventilation).
  3. Fill the bucket brimming with peat soil, water (preferably with rainwater).
  4. If everything is well slumbered, you can already plant.
  5. The edge of the bucket can still be covered with smaller field stones.
