Moisture meter: Pour balcony plants optimally

After my self-seeded zinnias were doused by the bad weather for my balcony last year, I had bought myself a soil moisture meter / Moisturemeter. I always water my plants too much anyway.

It is a simple device for about 8-10?, Without batteries, which roughly indicates moisture by simply inserting the probe tip into the ground. Wet, damp, dry.

That's enough for home use. Due to a lot of wind, the soil in my window boxes is often dry and wet at the top. I also have no desire to constantly rumzuprokeln with my fingers to determine the moisture. Even you can be wrong. This device quickly and reliably displays the moisture content of the soil.

Have just made my sowing again for the summer in my small Zimmergewächshäuschen and can monitor with the Moisturmeter optimally. I love it when the grains are made into small seedlings and later really beautiful flowers.

This year I have to make a drainage with expanded clay and fleece in my window boxes. The weather has become too crazy and unpredictable, on the second floor without roofing quite fateful.

This moisture meter for plants additionally measures the light intensity and the pH value of the soil: Moisturemeter
