Mosquito bites help with hot water

Hot water helps relieve itching and swelling (possibly also infections) in mosquito bites

Asian tiger mosquito, Asian bush mosquito, black fly mosquito, sand fly - more and more immigrants join the indigenous bloodsuckers. And they have it in part.

Because today a squadron out of a bush stung me four times within a minute, and because the right one DENTS I was interested in what's going on there. I found that there are now 3 immigrant species that we can not get away. Due to climatic changes, we now have the harmful pests that CAN transmit diseases that we have never heard and seen here. Generally, the diseases are usually done away with "summer flu", a bit of fever and on we go. Occasionally, however, one or the other may have serious consequences.

Because today, as I said, I had four correct bumps, and I know that it must have been something like a blackfly - the bump on my arm was a good 5mm high - and I know that a hand or arm can get really thick , I've remembered, which has often helped me with nocturnal stitches:

Very hot water on it, and a little longer, from 30 seconds it helps.

The theory behind it: My arm can easily put away the momentary heating with hot water, the infiltrated bacteria, viruses and insecticides, at least the protein content, does not tolerate the heat very well.

In practice, I held the hot shower, about 2 minutes. Result: itching completely disappeared and the swelling is at least only half as high. Has the teeth clenching paid off?
