Moss cake - cake with spinach leaves

Total preparation time: 60 min.

I tried this moss cake today because I could not imagine that a cake with spinach would taste like coffee.

But the result is more than delicious and I would like to introduce this recipe to you.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 500 g TK leaf spinach
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 180 ml of oil
  • 200 g of flour
  • 1 pck of baking soda

preparation

  1. Leave the leaf spinach to thaw briefly, chop it small (makes itself very good) and drain it very well on a sieve.
  2. I have always helped with a tablespoon (pressed).
  3. Now cream the eggs with the sugar creamy, then slowly stir in the oil and stir in the flour with the baking powder.
  4. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease a baking tray with baking frame (works well without frame).
  5. Finally, stir the spinach under the dough and put everything on the baking tray.
  6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes (chopstick sample).
  7. After baking, allow the cake to cool well and then halve.
  8. One half is crumbled.

Covering:

  1. On the other half comes stiff whipped cream.
  2. I sprinkled 300g of cream with 2 vanilla sugar, 1 tbsp sugar and 2 creams.
  3. On the cream layer you distribute the cake crumbs.
  4. On top, the seeds of 1 pomegranate are distributed, which gives the cake extra that certain something.

You can believe me, this cake is delicious.
