Mozzarella sticks with dip
These sticks have long been a must in any American or Mexican restaurant. Of course a dip may not be missing. Ideal for in between or as a starter in a menu. (2 persons)
ingredients
Sticks:
- 2 packs of bar mozarella
- 2 eggs
- Breadcrumbs (breadcrumbs)
- oil
Dip:
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 50g Parmesan
- fresh basil
- Salt pepper
preparation
First cut the mozzarella into sticks of the same length. There are about 6 pieces from a pole. Then cover with egg and then with breadcrumbs until the mozzarella is no longer visible. The sticks now come in a hot pan with oil.
TIP: in the pan, there should be about as much oil in it, as from the tip of the little finger, to the first bend. Fry the sticks until the breadcrumbs are golden yellow.
Mince the tomatoes and Parmesan and place in a higher container, then add only the basil, salt and pepper. Now chop everything with the blender and voila, a delicious dip.
TIP: season with chilli powder for spicy people.
