Mutzbraten from the Bratschlauch

My husband is a huge Mutzbraten fan, but unfortunately he does not have the time to throw on the Mutzbraten grill more often. That's why I've tried it with the oven and roasting tube, I think I've done well. Here is the recipe:

(Of course you can also take bought Mutzbraten, I made it myself)

preparation

  1. I brought 1 kg of roast pork for 3 people and cut it into generous square pieces.
  2. Seasoned these pieces the day before (salt, pepper, paprika) and coated with mustard from all sides. And then rolled in marjoram.
  3. Simply place in the fridge with it overnight and on the day you just sew in a frying tube (without oil or anything else) and cook at 180 degrees convection for a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  4. The crust was crispy and the meat very tender. Of course, it's not the same as the fire, but I think it's pretty close.
  5. It goes well with sauerkraut, mustard and fresh bread.
