My "grandma's dish"

Today I would like to introduce you to a very delicious meal, which carries the title "Grandma-dish", because I know it from my grandmother. She had no name for it either. It is also quite simple:

Fry an onion until glassy and add minced meat at the same time (whether mixed, only pork or beef is left to you, I always take a pack of 500 g), otherwise the onion becomes too dark. Take a big pan or a roasting pan. While the mincemeat is sizzling, 2 - 3 peppers are cut into small pieces and then into the roasting pan as well. If everything has the desired tan, then pour water (about 500 ml) and then with ketchup (or passed tomatoes) to the desired consistency (that is, I mean, until the sauce has the desired thickness) fill up. The whole then about a good half an hour simmer. In time you can then start the rice and when both are ready, serve.

Unfortunately, I can not say what the seasoning of passed tomatoes looks like, as I always take ketchup. The food is in my circle of friends with great popularity and is always eaten. Usually I am asked to cook it when one or the other person invites me. And if you cook it in the amount as specified (500 g of minced meat, 2-3 peppers), then that's enough for 3 - 4 people.
