My self-test for heartburn

I decided to stop using medications that reduce or neutralize stomach acid beforehand or later, two years ago. The modest side effects are a physical catastrophe, as a specialist on 1. 6. 2016 in the ARD Morgenmagazin on "heartburn" also confirmed. (Definitely to find some time in the library there.) Unfortunately, there are a lot of useless tips.

My self-experiment worked for me, read how I felt

I was able to beat heartburn with chips and marshmallows, but also through less food and sporty activity, I even drink coffee with caffeine 3-4 times a day.

Do not worry, it's not a miracle seller here at writing! (Just noticed). I just want to help get rid of this nasty annoying thing.


I have found the following effects, with acute excess acid, please forgive my amateur style:

Foam kisses taste delicious and have a filling airy volume. After the 2nd - 3rd foam kiss, a "foamy barrier" appears to be the only gastric acid in the stomach and in the transition to the esophagus. (The effect also promise expensive tablets!). Well, since then, the really cheapest kisses are with me in the fridge and it works very well with me. It's better than stuffing idiotic 200 grams of skinny quark plus oatmeal, as recommended, because: The stomach is already full! Even more heavy stuff and hell is hellish. Therefore, I came to the "foam barrier a la kisses" :)

French fries! Starchy potato products neutralize stomach acid and act as a buffer. These work (in my opinion and after trying!) Only in advance against heartburn, NOT if the problem is already there. (Too heavy and volume too high, so take kisses, in case of acute problems).

So I actually eat and not so close, in the evening a great round of fries and it works.


I renounce that

White sugar! (The heartburn gas I call that) ... This sugar is in jam (so take substitute sweet products or just less). Alcohol is over! Yes and this is one of the best soda makers. I learned to love soft beer and hey, so great, you can always drive a car and motorbike afterwards. Smart!

Change your breakfast! Give up orange juice + coffee + jam bread / rolls (together with a Sodbrenngarantie), but NOW lager quark and oatmeal or 2-3 fried eggs. (I only eat citrus with quark and never more than 1 piece).

Have you ever noticed that in summer you usually have less heartburn than in autumn, winter? ... Yes, the movement. The more sport, the less heartburn, seems to work BUT BUT BUT ... That was not the case with me right away!


I have dispensed with a medicine with the letter O, deposed from one day to the next. Now I had to urgently reduce the amount of food, otherwise I was punished with a hard heartburn. Then I defeated the stupid remedy of dependence, when calmed down by small amounts of food, first any inflammatory place. The common thing is, one always falls back on old habits.

The most important thing for me: eat much less in the evening, cucumber salad with small cherry tomatoes and some dressing are also great. Hunger? Pour in 3-4 soft kisses :) Currently fries are my favorite and I love the potato starch in them!

After 2 years, I can say: Only around and before the Christmas season I have "relapses" in terms of heartburn because of alcohol, sweets or food, uh feasts.

Sports

Those who have acute heartburn should not make any stomach-pressure-inducing movements, but move with 2-hour walks, at least every day. Cycle. Lie as little as possible during the day. At the beginning I had to put 2-3 cushions at night under my upper body, so that no acid comes up. Today I sleep flat and relaxed again.

If you have the heartburn under control, then swim too. No I'm not a doctor, it's my tried-and-tested tricks to get away from pills and acid blockers.

Today: I lost a great 20 kg, from about 110 kg to a slim 90 kg, I'm 196 cm tall. I hope you can do it too:
