Nibbles from puff pastry

Fast, easy nibbles for beer, wine, soups, with dip or just to nibble.

Since I have a family and a circle of acquaintances who sit longer and longer after drinking coffee and then later want some snacks, I always have a packet of frozen puff pastry in the freezer.

preparation

  1. When I'm in embarrassment again and have no nibbles in the house, I quickly thaw the puff pastry plates next to each other. In the meantime, I preheat the oven to 200 degrees and lay out two baking trays (including the fat pan) with baking paper.
  2. Then I roll out the individual plates even more thinly, brush them with milk, sprinkle them with garlic salt and sesame seeds or even with dried Italian herbs, divide the plates with the cake wheel into strips approx. 0.5 cm wide, place them on the baking trays and bake then the first sheet about 10 minutes. Then bake the next sheet.
  3. If you have circulating air, I imagine that you can bake both plates together at 180 degrees.
  4. The puff pastry is sufficient for about 110 snack bars.
  5. In between, I bake them in order, because most of the time the little ones help me out and sprinkle.
  6. Today we have Zucchini cream soup and my husband wished these bars.
  7. These bars will certainly taste delicious with other grain mixes.
  8. I needed about 35 minutes for the 110 rods today.

A tip from me, the narrower they are eradicated, the better they are.

You can also take only half of the puff pastry, which is quite enough and goes faster.
