No flooding when painting with watercolors

When children paint with watercolors, it can easily happen that the cup falls over with the water and flooded the whole table along with the beautiful work of art.

To prevent such a mishap, I simply set the cup with water (yogurt cup) a sponge bath, in which I cut into the middle of a hole the size of the cup with the scissors.

The sponge holds the cup stable and if it should tip over, it absorbs the water immediately.

Positive side effect: The sponge can be used to clean the table after painting.

It absorbs liquid quickly, wipes off the paint crap, is quickly washed out and dries on its own.

Since there are the bath sponges in all colors, they also like the children very well.
