No more squealing windshield wipers

If the windshield wiper squeaks again, it does not necessarily have to be broken.

Mostly it is only because the disc is contaminated with a lubricating film. The money for a new wiper, you can possibly save.

My advice:

First, clean the disc thoroughly, so that no rough dirt is on it.

Then cut a potato lengthwise and rub the slice with the inner surface of a potato half.

Go with the potato even over the wiper blade.

Then again briefly with clean water and clean (!) Cloth over it. Finished.

The squeak should then be gone. If not, then the wiper blade is too old and unfortunately has to be replaced.
