No slamming of tilt windows in wind
Especially in summer, a storm can often wind up unexpectedly and surprise the people in their homes. It can also happen that the wind simply slams the tilted windows. This process is especially disturbing for sleeping children or babies, as they could be torn out of sleep. But even for us adults, the slamming of windows is not pleasant.
So that does not happen, I clamp in the morning when tilting the window as a precaution, a bottle cork between the frame and the window. In this way, the cork prevents the windows from slamming in violent winds.
