Onion soup with cheese

Since I'm a real soup kasper and love onions, today I send you my recipe for 4 people.
ingredients
- 5-6 large onions
- 1 heaped TL thyme
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 good shot of white wine
- about 1 L cube soup
- toasted white bread
- grated Emmentaler
preparation
- Cut the onions into cubes, fry in a saucepan. Deglaze with white wine until the alcohol has evaporated.
- Then add cube soup and season.
- Meanwhile, toast the bread and finely grate the cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top heat / circulating air.
- Put the soup in a fireproof cup, put the bread on the soup and sprinkle with cheese.
- Put in the oven and wait until the cheese is baked light brown.
- Since I also like to eat warm cheese, I also add grated cheese between the soup.
