Open childproof lid

Child-resistant covers are sometimes difficult to open even by adults, and not only in the hands of arthritis.
So you can simply unlock these lids:

Push-and-turn lid: Turn a thin screw between the inner and outer lids to tilt the two lids together. The easiest way is with such screws, which end in a ring or hook.

Crimp-and-turn lid: flatten the two inwardly protruding parts of the outer lid with a sharp knife, or simply, e.g. Cut out with pruning shears. The inner lid then closes the bottle still tight, only the outer lid can not tilt with the bottleneck.

Not child-safe, but not always easy to open:
Jars with screw cap: with a capsule opener, such as e.g. on a pocket knife, carefully lift the lid, enough to vent the vacuum. Apart from a dent, the lid will not be damaged.
