Orchids - just make pots yourself
Not every flowerpot is suitable for orchids. The pots as in the picture are usually very expensive, as they have the bottom as a catch tray, so that the orchids do not swim in the water.
Since I'm just about to save some orchids of a friend from safe pest death and suitable pots - 4 pieces would be - in the hardware store about 7-8 euros per copy cost, had something different.
I took normal flower pots, had another bag of empty Ü eggs and filled each egg with sand or similar. To complain, that came down in the normal flower pot and thus the water can drain.
Of course you have to make sure that the inner plastic pot does not peep out of the planter too much! I simulated it in the second picture with a toothbrush cup, a plastic cup and hard to recognize the miniature ü-egg! Haha
