Original gift: bread dumpling
Who does not even need a quick and original gift that always puts a smile on your face! If you have bought the ingredients, the bread dumpling is made very quickly together.
You can crochet the hat very quickly. For this you need thick wool or sock yarn (2 threads):
Make 4 sts for round, put 2 sts in each st, once more sts in each st. 2 sts, round = M.
5th row in every 3rd st. 2 sts.
6th row in each st. 1 st.
7th row in every 7 sts. 2 sts.
8th + 9th round a round solid M.
7-ninth Repeat R. until about 28 rows (depending on the size of the hat or the beer ball) = approx. 12 cm in height
You also need:
- 1 base: chopping board or thick cardboard wrapped in aluminum foil (shape as desired, angular, oval, round)
- 1 oblong 500 g bread (body)
- 4 mini babybell (feet)
- 1 beer ball (head)
- 1 pepperbeer or smoked sausage or similar (Tail)
- 1 large piece of rind (maybe order from the butcher) or 2 slices of ham - slightly thicker (ears)
- Toothpicks, shashlik skewers, double-sided adhesive pads, bow, flower or feather or similar for the hat
- Cardboard (eyes and nose)
Eyes: Cut out of cardboard, paint with black pencil, also the nose
Ears: Cut longish rags of rind or ham, cut to approx. 10-12 cm long and approx. 5.5 cm wide oval
Now put together:
- The cheeses are placed on the underside of the bread with toothpicks.
- Beer ball (with 2 skewers set on the bread, as well as the tail (toothpick)
- Ears attached, on the hat. Now the eyes and the nose are glued on with double-sided adhesive pads.
- Bow around the neck.
