Pack your bags for the trip home / return journey
When I return from vacation and pack my suitcase, proceed as follows: I carefully put all unused clothing in the suitcase, preferably on one side.
I roll all used things together. Underwear, socks, shirts, pants ... just everything that needs to be washed.
When I unpack my suitcase at home, I put a laundry basket next to it and throw in everything that has been rolled up, so I know what's left unused, which I then put away normally.
Takes a bit longer while packing, but saves time when clearing.
